This essay should focus on TWO of the six groups covered in the course (Weeks 8-13): class, gender, race,
sexual orientation and gender identity, age, and disability.
Concepts, theories, and evidence from works of Weeks 1-7 of the course should also be incorporated, where
relevant – for example: Phillips, Mansbridge, Dovi, and Murray
**Essays should be approximately 5000 words long.
