COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. To become familiar with ideals that shaped the American government.
2. To understand the historical development of the United States government.

4. To understand the evolution of state and local governments and their relation to each other, and the Federal government.
5. To understand the function and powers of the President, Congress, and the Judiciary.
