Peacebuilding in Afghanistan

You can look both at the Mali thesis and also the document which I have attached to start with it says generally about the liberal peacebuilding. End the paragraph with 4,5 lines on what Al Qaida did to the States 9/11 and how it leads to the Military intervention of Afghanistan
.
Paragraph 2 you will start with the military intervention 2001 in Afghanistan and the international community’s peacebuilding/ the liberal peace attempts in Afghanistan. As you can see from the previous chapter I will use Richmond’s liberal peace theory where he criticizes the liberal peacebuilding which has failed by design. My thesis will be a critic of the liberal peacebuilding in Afghanistan , there are four dimensions in Oliver Richmond’s theory, state building, state formation, peacebuilding, peace formation I will critically analyze these dimensions in my analysis chapter.
When you write the introduction part in an indirect way not mentioning these four dimensions but in a way present them in the introduction so in this way you would present the sub questions as well in the introduction so it will be clear for the readers what is the aim of this thesis .
For example you can elaborate on my notes below
Notes
After 9/11 attack US, NATO international community since 2001 with the collapse of the Taliban regime tried to rebuild and reconstruct a peaceful Afghanistan. Liberal peace attempts has not been successful, what are the attempts where are we new?. you could conclude it is partially successful in some areas but that is not enough  you can Argue in relation to Galtung there is a shift from negative negative peace to positive, the process which leads to negative peace like Afghanistan . Please use Galtung’s argument.
the liberal peacebuilding / efforts hasn’t been effective because after 20 years of attempt and despite of NATO and ISAF ,there is no significant change the country is still under attack of the Taliban and the state is very weak .It shifts Afghanistan in all chaos and left it in a fragile unstable and failed state. There has been a lot focus on military rather than a comprehensive and humanitarian peacebuilding, there is focus on the external organization while the local people has been neglected
F ex : The people of Afghanistan has endured 40 years of conflict and still they are not included as an actor
The UNAMA Afghan people’s dialogue on peace: local Road Maps for peace should be considered as a relevant source of the Afghan civil society’s interest and needs ( UNAMA, 2018) the compressed inclusion of the civil society which this report represents, is a crucial part of the solution as it promotes inclusivity and give voice to the views of ordinary Afghans and critical Issues
The aim of the thesis is to critically examine how the international community attempts to
build peace and why it is inefficient. It seeks to explore the externally induced models of
conflict resolution, and what role local actors play in the peace process. In doing so the thesis
aims to contribute to the studies of peacebuilding, as Afghanistan case is an important testing
ground for international community attempt to create peace in a failed state like Afghanistan ( Please reformulate this part as I take it from the Mali thesis )
Based on this it is necessary to do a research
Why has the liberal peacebuilding efforts been ineffective in Afghanistan? In which conditions a durable peace can be achieved
Sub – questions
What kind of internal forces use violence to gain power and material recourses?
What external efforts have been made to reconstruct Afghanistan?
How do the external community support programs of liberal peacebuilding in Afghanistan?
Is a sustained and durable peace even possible without the inclusion of the local people
