The engaged team performance brings together all the process streamlining with the best operations in teamwork, participation, and productivity. Therefore, the engaged team performance depends on effective facilitation of the team members. The key to facilitation in a more extensive version assist in the development of effective team performance based on significant issues. According to scholars, effective team facilitation is important since meetings of big groups of individuals can be difficult to organize as well as to coordinate when they are in progress. Most importantly, a facilitator can assist members of a group to understand each other and learn to work together (Grobler, Schenck & Mbedzi, 2013).

The key to facilitation is defined by consensus and support, keeping an eye on the objectives, setting a clear agenda and also keep teams at work visible using flip charts and yellow stickies on the wall. The consensus involves that everyone accepts and supports the decision and learns the reasons for making it (O’Connor, 2014). In a team, there exist various decisions that are connected to the objectives and goals of the Company.  A good team performance is embedded in a collective understanding of decisions that are set by the team which in turn results in the development of its plans. Therefore, the consensus that a team reaches and supports promotes effective performance.

Moreover, effective team facilitation involves keeping an eye on the objectives. The performance of a team depends on the aspect of meeting the set objectives. It also involves monitoring and evaluating the objectives that are set by the team leaders and managers. The organizations depend more on the execution of objectives especially by making sure that team facilitators constantly reminds the members of what is expected of them. Additionally, facilitation has become an important communication skill in the present times especially in working organizations (Lindsay & Orton, 2014). This involves setting up a clear agenda for the team members to follow. It is imperative that an ambiguous agenda will create a misunderstanding between the team members and the managers. Therefore, a good facilitation will incapacitate a clear agenda settings based on objectives alignment. This is important especially when a target object is to be in a speculated time. It is vivid that a clear set of objects to motivate the team since they are able to have a direction to follow.

Additionally, a good facilitation involves keeping the teams at work visible using flip charts and yellow stickies on the wall. Charts and yellow stickers are normally used in displaying the objectives and goals of a group. The visibility of the expected work from the team enables the workers to be informed of what is expected of them during the performance. Therefore, facilitation is a critical skill for organizing the notions and contributions of diverse sets of individuals within an organization. In the present organizations, good facilitation assists in the development of team performance.
